Children placed in foster care or for adoption have many families. They and their families must negotiate a complex web of legal representatives, educators, and mental health or social service providers. This two-day conference brings together these parents and those working with them to learn from each other, to improve their collaboration, and to discover ways to better integrate their efforts.
Each day will begin with a presentation of different perspectives of child welfare, and concludes with forums to integrate the day’s knowledge and perspectives. Join us and contribute to learning and growth in a blame-free environment. *An optional banquet and auction will be held from 5p-8:30p on Oct. 14, and is included in the Conference registration fee.
